Is there any way to check my system to see what raw support I have? I don't think Apple releases stand alone raw support updates so not sure where to go. I don't want to upgrade to El Captian or Seirra. It seems like it could be an OS issue in not having Raw support (D500) for Yosemite but I didn't think raw support was OS specific. What happens is when I imported images from my new D500 to Aperture or Photos (yuk!) on my iMac, the import thumbnails are shown but once loaded into Aperture or Photos I get the "Unsupported Image Format" in each file image. Additionally, I should note that this format issue does not occur on my same aged macbook pro which is running El Capitan. This issue started with Aperture (v3.6) on my iMac 27" (late 2009) running Yosemite 10.10.5 and have all current OS updates installed but also seems it may be an OS Raw support issue as no apps will open these files on this computer including Photos. I tried to open in Preview and Photoshop CS6 but same issue. All other Raw files from other bodies (older) work fine. I don't want to upgrade to El Captian or Seirra. ![]()
